    DharmOps is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

    1. Who We Are

    DharmOps provides data infrastructure engineering and custom software services from Gujarat, India. DharmOps decides how and why the personal information described in this policy is used, which makes us the data controller (in India, the data fiduciary) for it.     2. Information We Collect

    We collect information you provide directly to us, including contact information, company details, and communication records such as form submissions, emails and call notes. We also collect technical data when you visit our website, such as device, browser and page-visit information. Giving us contact details is optional, but we cannot reply to an enquiry or book a call without them.

    3. Why We Use Your Information

    We use your information to respond to enquiries and book calls (to take steps you ask for before entering a contract, or with your consent); to provide and administer our services (to perform a contract); to improve our website and send service updates (our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, which we weigh against your rights); and to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

    4. Service Providers and Sub-processors

    We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers that help us run the website, communicate with you, schedule calls, manage our client records and serve our clients. These providers fall into these categories: website hosting, email and calendar services, analytics, and customer relationship management. Each provider is bound to keep the information confidential and to use it only for the service it performs for us. For clients who sign a Data Processing Agreement with us, the sub-processors we use for that engagement are listed or authorised under that agreement.

    5. Disclosure of Information

    Beyond the service providers above, we disclose personal information only if: DharmOps is acquired, merges, or sells assets, in which case your information may transfer to the new entity as part of that transaction; we're required to by law, subpoena, or court order; or it's necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or abuse of this site. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

    6. Data Security

    We protect your information with access limited to the people who need it, encrypted storage and transfer, and written procedures for handling client data, access to client systems and security incidents. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires. To report a suspected breach or security concern, email contact@dharmops.com with the subject line 'Security incident'.

    7. Retention

    Enquiry and contact records (form submissions, emails, call notes): kept while the conversation is active and for as long afterwards as is needed to follow up and keep business records, then deleted or anonymised. Website technical data: kept only as long as needed for the analytics purpose it was collected for. Client data that we access or copy while delivering an engagement: deleted within 90 days after the engagement closes, unless the signed contract specifies a different period or the law requires us to keep it. We delete data sooner if you ask us to and the law allows it.

    8. Client Engagement Data

    This policy covers information about visitors, enquirers and the contacts we deal with. When we work inside a client's systems, the client's data is handled under the signed services agreement and Data Processing Agreement for that engagement. Where the two differ, the signed agreement applies. It sets out what we may do with the data, who may access it, how breaches are reported, and how the data is deleted or returned at the end.

    9. Your Rights and Consent

    You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it: email us and we will stop the processing that relied on that consent and delete the data unless the law requires us to keep it. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in India, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operating, after first raising the complaint with us. This policy is available in English; ask us if you need it in another language. Contact us to exercise these rights.

    10. California Residents

    In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name and email address), business contact details and internet activity data (such as pages visited), for the purposes in section 3. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to provide the services you ask for. California residents can ask us to disclose, correct or delete their personal information by emailing contact@dharmops.com, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.

    11. Where Your Data Is Processed

    DharmOps is based in India, and your information may be processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers across borders, we put them in place through contract terms with the provider or the client.

    We use cookies to enhance your experience on our website. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

    13. Grievances

    If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, email contact@dharmops.com with the subject line 'Privacy grievance'. We will resolve it within 90 days of receiving it, and sooner where we can.
